Ioannis Myrillos was born in Athens in 1955. He is a member of the Athens Bar Association and has been practicing law since 1982. He is a graduate of the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds a Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M) of the University of Southampton, England since 1982.

He has been involved in shipbuilding contracts, agreements for the sale and purchase of second hand oceangoing vessels, in ship finance and maritime mortgages, the establishment of shipowning and managing companies, the set-up of commercial companies of all types and forms, the establishment of branches and liaison offices of both domestic and foreign shipping, commercial and industrial companies and in drafting corporate and business agreements of every type and form. He has substantial experience in resolving maritime and commercial disputes and conflicts and has been also involved in litigations representing clients in matters of maritime, commercial and insurance law with outstanding results. During his thirty-five-year career, he has been recognized by international publications in the above areas. He is fluent in English and has excellent computer skills.
